What is it about fish and aquariums that is so addictive

What makes it so addictive about having fish in aquariums is the beauty & the unique ways of having fish swim around right before ur eyes. It is their behaviors & the colors that also catches peoples eyes.

It is very very addictive if u love fishes, it is the proper care that is very important in attaining the fishes. They can last a long time if u know what u r doing.

The fishes, the decorations, the colors of the fishes, the unique behavior between their tankmates is the interesting & beautiful art of having fish in the first place.

Anyways, this is my explanation & I hope that this will help u determine on why it is so addictive. Thanks for asking......

From my point, i think it is like having a dog or a cat, only fish sometimes seem more interesting. the different colors, types, and sizes. and as for the tanks, the bigger the tank the more you can have!!!! But, even a small fish bowl with 1 goldfish would even be nice. just watching them swimming around is sort of cool. yes, you can not cuddle with a fish or teach them how to fetch, but just seeing them swim around is cool enough!! =D

well i always love feeding pets and watching how they survive like feeding cichlids feeder fish and the aggressiveness in them its awesome i also love the filter sound.

I enjoy fish because each fish developes there own personality and it is fun to see what they do and how they interact with eachother. It is also meditative to watch them and listen to the sounds the tank makes. It is also a neat idea to know that you've taken an animal from an enviroment so differe not from your own and brought it to your enviroment. X3 I love each of my fish and they're individual personalitys is what keeps me entertained and itching for more.

I think that having a fish tank is so addictive because it allows us to have a piece of nature inside, it allows us to enjoy a part of the world that otherwise we would have to go diving to see. The calming sounds of water trickling through a filter or tiny air bubbles popping on the surface. I've got three fish tanks in my house and I do not think I'd give any of them us. I can sit for hours and watch my fish interact, they're awsome. Who needs a tv? Get a bigger fishtank.
